Throughout all the dives and pre dive checks she made sure I was confident and comfortable in every skill required. I went in the low season and the dives were all 1-1! Me and my girlfriend completed our PADI open water certifications and nitrox certifications with Tash and she was an awesome instructor and super experienced diver! Tash made sure we really learned all the skills we needed to be good divers. She's really good at explaining things and I feel very confident that we learned everything we need to be competent open water divers. Confined water dives were helpful and I definitely felt ready to go diving after. Did not feel rushed at all. During the 2 days of open water training dives, we took a long tail boat to the local islands and practiced our skills. Tash showed us many very cool critters and fish and corals and seahorses and rays and helped us understand how the underwater ecosystem all fits together. She's obviously very knowledgeable and experienced in the local waters. The other diving instructors and guides on the boat were all very nice and helpful too! We enjoyed meeting Ben and Alex and Apolline. The boat captain was nice and the rides were smooth. Tons of bottled water and food onboard, fresh fruit and hot lunch were provided both days. The vibes on the boat were great, everyone was having a good time. We are from the United States and this was our first time diving in Thailand, and we can't wait to return! Had a great time with Sawasdee Divers in Ao Nang recently. Did two dives around Ao Nang islands. Unfortunately, some of the visibility wasn't great due to the moon and current timing, but we made the best of it. Alex was our dive master, and he was awesome. Definitely helped out a lot. The other diver masters from the trip on the boat were also super kind and helpful. Would love to dive with them again!Posted on TripadvisorVerified Inexperienced Divers Loved Diving with Sawasdee Divers Diving in Krabi, Thailand was a wonderful experience for the four of us Americans because of the attention to detail, the experience of our dive masters and their extreme patience with us. For the three of us it had been many years since diving. And because of Trish, a Thai native and Jeremy, from France we had no fears diving one of the many islands off of Ao Nang beach. We did two dives that day in the middle of January in 2026. We were transported via one of the many Thai long boats you see everywhere on the Thai beaches and on the ocean. Trish and Jeremy were both proficient in English and communicated with us clearly and constantly before, during and after our dives. My wife was very hesitant about diving, but after diving with Trish and Jeremy she came away with a renewed love of diving. Because of our lack of experience we asked the owner, Yann if he could provide additional support for us and we were provided with TWO dive masters. For peace of mind and the extra attention, we were glad to pay for the extra dive master. Thank you Yann and your team for providing a great experience with diving in Krabi. I look forward to future dives because of the wonderful time we had with Sawasdee Divers! Un immense merci au centre de plongée pour son professionnalisme et la qualité de l’accompagnement tout au long de la sortie. L’équipe a su rester attentive et rassurante, notamment lorsque mon conjoint a eu un petit moment de panique lors des premiers mètres de descente. Grâce à leur calme et leur bienveillance, tout s’est ensuite parfaitement déroulé. Nos enfants de 10 et 13 ans ont eux aussi adoré cette découverte, et tout s’est très bien passé pour eux. Merci encore à toute l’équipe !Posted on TripadvisorVerified Amazing dive centre in Krabi I found this dive centre on the internet as it seemed quite close to our hotel in Mueang Krabi. Having messaged them a few times before we left on our trip, Yann replied very quickly with full information. You have to pay beforehand but the process is easy and do not worry about it. Once in Krabi, I confirmed exactly what I wanted to do. They pick you up and drop you back off at your hotel Day one I did a 2 tank dive to local islands and then my wife joined me for another day trip to Phi Phi Islands…..me diving while she snorkelled. The whole experience with Sawasdee Diving was superb. On both my days diving I had Tash as my guide and she was superb. We saw so much and you could not move a centimetre without seeing something new and amazing….I cannot thank her enough for making my diving in Krabi so special. My wife snorkelled in a group at Phi Phi with Alex. He took great care of her and moved 2 jellyfish that were near her away. The boat to Phi Phi is great. A 2 hour crossing but the crew are bringing fruit, fresh muffins, rice parcels and once the 2 dives are over lunch is served. The boat crew are also very helpful and great. having done well over 200 dives around the world, I cannot recommend Sawasdee Diving enough. If you are coming to Krabi, do not hesitate to book your dive trips with them…..you will not be disappointed and you will be in for a treatPosted on TripadvisorVerified The best diving in Krabi I can not recommend Sawasdee divers highly enough. As a returning customer of three years I have just completed my Rescue diver course. All the staff are friendly, reassuring, knowledgable and accommodating.
