PADI SCUBA Diver Course Description

The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course.

If you’re short on a time but really want become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

Also, if you feel more comfortable not going too deep, and always want to dive with a professional, the PADI Scuba Diver course is a good starting point.

PADI SCUBA Diver Course Organization

The PADI SCUBA Diver Course consists of :

Knowledge development (online independent study or in the classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving.
You can start this learning before arriving for your PADI diving course.
Confined water dives (pool) to learn basic scuba skills.
Open water dives (2 dives) to use your skills and explore.

You will be qualified for:

Diving under the direct supervision of a PADI professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters.
Continue dive training by completing the PADI Open Water Diver Course certification and taking certain PADI Specialty Diver Courses.
