Each package includes a minimum of 10 photos and 15–30 seconds of video in standard formats.
Prices
1–2 persons: 500 THB
3–4 persons: 1,000 THB
5 persons or more: 1,500 THB
Terms
Available on all fun diving trips and standard courses.
Training Courses
Photos and videos will be taken during the second dive only, and only if the instructor determines that it is safe to do so, as the safety of everyone is our top priority.
Sea Conditions
If the sea conditions are not good enough, the instructor has the right to cancel the photo/video session, and no payment will be required.

Thailand’s Underwater Camera Regulations
To protect coral reefs and marine life, Thailand introduced national regulations in April 2025 regarding who is allowed to use underwater cameras while SCUBA Diving.
The law is part of broader marine protection measures under Thai environmental regulations.
Who Is NOT Allowed Use a Camera Underwater In Thailand
- Open Water divers with less than 40 dives
- Students during training dives (Open Water, Discover Scuba Diving, etc.)
- Beginner divers without sufficient experience
- Photography during training is prohibited unless handled by a qualified/assigned diver
Who Can Use a Camera Underwater In Thailand
Only divers who meet ONE of the following conditions are allowed to carry an underwater camera while SCUBA diving:
- Advanced Open Water diver (or higher) OR
- A certified diver with at least 40 logged dives.
Certification card or logbook must be presented as proof if requested by authorities.
Purpose of The Law
To protect coral reefs and fragile ecosystems.
Prevent damage caused by:
- Poor buoyancy
- Distraction caused by using cameras
- Contact with marine life
Important Note
Sawasdee Divers reserve the right to refuse the use of a camera if the diver’s buoyancy or level of control is deemed insufficient, regardless of their level of certification.
